Sorry for the delay but I had another log to attend to.

With reference to the Unknown User Account, that number is legitimate and is used by Windows 8 with Windows Store Applications. Windows 7 doesn't know anything about this, so it's being shown as unknown.

Remove unnecessary start-up entries

This is a suggestion but is optional.

The following are programs that start up when you turn on your computer but don't need to be started. Stopping these won’t prevent them from working and you start any of the programs as and when you need them. However, by stopping these programs your computer should boot up and work faster.

  • open HijackThis and click Do a system scan only.
  • place a check mark next to the following entries:

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [AdobeCS6ServiceManager] "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\CS6ServiceManager\CS6ServiceManager.exe" -launchedbylogin
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [LogMeIn Hamachi Ui] "C:\Program Files (x86)\LogMeIn Hamachi\hamachi-2-ui.exe" --auto-start
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Lightshot] C:\Program Files (x86)\Skillbrains\lightshot\Lightshot.exe
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [ControlCenterCount] C:\Program Files (x86)\MSI\ControlCenter\ControlCenterCount.exe
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [LWS] C:\Program Files (x86)\Logitech\LWS\Webcam Software\LWS.exe -hide
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [StartCCC] "C:\Program Files (x86)\AMD\ATI.ACE\Core-Static\amd64\CLIStart.exe" MSRun
    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Steam] "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steam.exe" -silent
    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Clownfish] "C:\Program Files (x86)\Clownfish\Clownfish.exe"
    O4 - HKUS\S-1-5-19\..\RunOnce: [mctadmin] C:\Windows\System32\mctadmin.exe (User 'LOCAL SERVICE')
    O4 - HKUS\S-1-5-20\..\RunOnce: [mctadmin] C:\Windows\System32\mctadmin.exe (User 'NETWORK SERVICE')
    O4 - HKUS\S-1-5-18\..\RunOnce: [SPReview] "C:\Windows\System32\SPReview\SPReview.exe" /sp:1 /errorfwlink:"http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=122915" /build:7601 (User 'SYSTEM')
    O4 - HKUS\.DEFAULT\..\RunOnce: [SPReview] "C:\Windows\System32\SPReview\SPReview.exe" /sp:1 /errorfwlink:"http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=122915" /build:7601 (User 'Default user')
    O4 - Startup: Logitech . Product Registration.lnk = C:\Program Files (x86)\Logitech\Ereg\eReg.exe

  • close all windows except for HijackThis and click Fix checked.

================================================

Run Farbar Recovery Scan Tool

HijackThis no longer works well with the new Windows systems and is therefore not reliable.

Please download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your Desktop.

Note: You need to run the version compatible with your system. If you are not sure which version applies to your system download both of them and try to run them. Only one of them will run on your system, that will be the right version.

  • right click to run as administrator (XP users click run after receipt of Windows Security Warning - Open File). When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.
  • press Scan button
  • it will produce a log called Frst.txt in the same directory the tool is run from
  • please copy and paste log back here.
  • the first time the tool is run it generates another log (Addition.txt - also located in the same directory as FRST.exe/FRST64.exe). Please also paste that along with the Frst.txt into your reply.

Logs to include with next post:

Frst.txt
Addition.txt

Thanks
