homegroup hack

Can somebody add my computer to their homegroup without me keying in the homegroup password if they can connect to my wifi or if they setup their router to minic mine?
I dont remember setting up or joining a homegroup and theres one on my computer

Windows 7 automatically creates a HomeGroup, nothing out of the ordinary.

Create a HomeGroup - Windows 7 - "When you set up a computer with this version of Windows, a homegroup is created automatically. But you can also create a homegroup ..."

Have you tried turning it off and on again?
