Hi ZiJie :)

Can you write down here the error message you are receiving, word for word? Also, where did you get the Windows 8.1 .iso from? What program did you use to make your USB bootable with it?

While waiting for the error to pop up, here's what I used, I used Windows Media Creation Tool to download and create the USB but I didn't turn it into an Iso.

Edit: here is the error "Windows could not format a Partition on disk 0. The error occurred while preparing the partition selected for installation. Error code 0x80070057.

Alright, how many partitions do you see listed during the setup? Also, how many hard drives do you have in that laptop, only one I imagine?

Note that I'm using Custom, 1 Drive only, 4 partitions and 2 more unallocated.

Do you want to format the whole drive and reinstall Windows 8.1, or do you want to keep some of your partitions since there's data on it?

Follow the instructions below:

Sorry about not typing them myself but I'm on my smartphone and it would be a bit too long.

Right, slight problem I can't type anything after typing diskpart and entering.

Edit: Wait never mind it was just slow.

Once you enter diskpart, you need to give it a few seconds to load the application, that's why :)
