I have several new Memorex CD-RWs that the drive ejects, then prompts me to insert a disk. I can get my Disk Management to recoginize them, but formatting is unsuccessful. How can my disk drive not even recognize the presence of a disk?

Can you try the disks in another drive? Sounds like the drive could be faulty.

He said the same thing he had been saying for hours... "burn them all".
