I first noticed a problem when all of my steam items were stolen in front of me, after running a malware bytes anti malware check it revealed a backdoor and keylogger had been installed on my computer. I then quarantined the offending items and deleted them. After that I purchased and installed Kaspersky AV and ran a full scan that came up clean. A few days later I experienced a few tabs opening automatically in chrome, Things like steam guides for avoiding phishing or similar things. More recently after restarting my PC I noticed the task bar being disabled or the start menu button not showing and today after restarting being greeted with a black screen on my main monitor and a strange resolution of the other, I opened chrome on the main monitor and dragged the window around and it was sort of like painting with a window as I dragged the window around it revealed more of my background. So my question is, do I still have malicious software in my computer?

(Note: All of my drives bar the OS SSD have been formatted I have also done multiple Kaspersky scans since that have all been clear)

How do I get help? Who is helping me?For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear....Become a BleepingComputer fan: Facebook

If you are still having the issue, let's get a deeper look.

Please follow this Preparation Guide and post in a new topic.
Let me know if all went well.
