Just a casual mention here...

Build 10074.  Is working, very, very, well.  Speedy, smooth and stable.  Does everything asked of it & does those things well.

Found a couple of issues in Edge and reported.

cmd in Power Users menu can be removed but, is not being replaced w/ Powershell

WD icons are not showing anywhere.

Weather icon was blank on the Taskbar briefly... Weather APP update from Store fixed that.

Other than the above, Build 10074 is being VERY WELL behaved!  It has some nice improvements or modifications.  Not sure the point of a transparent Start menu, especially the "Frosted glass" look.  Fortunately this transparency can be shut off.  Generally, the aesthetics  continue to evolve, Settings is showing growth; more organised & streamlined, some kewl tweaks to Multiple Desktops Feature.  Overall, looking nice & nicer, very easy to use, excellent, snappy, smooth, solid performance.  Not finding compatibility issues except, for a very few sites not completely happy in Edge.

Approximately @ the time of Build 10074 I switched from running Win10 virtually to physically.  Prior to 10074, certain, found flaws & or hit snags.  Point being cannot be, certain what to attribute to pre-10074 Builds or to just the challenges of a VM.  But, whatever, Build 10074 is running well & performing well, being very pleasant & enjoyable and EASY to useIrritations I had in previous Builds are gone.  Graphics, video display, et al are, really, nice w/ Win10; clear, crisp, sharp, clear & clean.  Both this & 8.1 are sharing the same gear and the visuals in 8.1 are, certainly, fine but, sure look great in Win10.  It is so easy on the eyes whilst having clarity.  It's uncluttered & to the point.

No site says, "Not responding & Recovering page" in Edge as they do in IE.  Some (FEW) sites have functionality issues in that they are not "Edge Ready", yet, but, sites do not 'hang' in Edge as they do in IE.

Migrating to Windows 10 is / will be smart, the Platform is far more sensible that running on prior Windows; taking advantage or the Upgrade off is brilliant.  Windows 10 is better than the past for many reasons, on many levels & to all environments & devices.  What it offers is superior yet, it is extremely accommodating & easier to use.

Anxious & looking forward to what subsequent Builds will be & offer.  10074 is growing old, already.  There are, actually, Builds of much higher numbers coming...  But, sure damn hard to know this Build 10074 is a Beta; sure does not act like a stereotypical beta OS.  Using 1 PC for 8.1 & 10 but, not dual-boot.

Cheers,
Drew
