I want to run karaoke from my laptop. I have connected my HDMI lead to the TV, and i wanted to come out of my laptop from the headphone lack into a standalone karaoke machine. I am not getting any sound, and wonder if the HDMI lead is overiding the lead from the laptop.On my old laptop, a Packard bell i used a TV out and went to the TV with a scart with no problems.Is there a setting that i can do, to overcome this please. thanks.
