When I start Firefox, I notice a wheel spins and nothing moves, just freezes, mouse pointer just freezes and it just hangs there for about 20 seconds and sometimes longer.  I have Sony Vaio E Laptop using Windows 7, 64 bit, 8 GB RAM. I have tried clearing cache, updating to latest version of Firefox and clearing all history but it still keeps doing this.  Any suggestions as to what could be causing the problem anyone? Thanks in advance.

Try a Refresh.

1.  Click the menu button and then click help.

2.  From the Help menu choose Troubleshooting Information.

3.  Click the Reset Firefox… button in the upper-right corner of the Troubleshooting Information page.

4.  To continue, click Reset Firefox in the confirmation window that opens.
