Hi there,

So I have a terrible Asus laptop that has 8.1 on it. I've had issues with this laptop almost since the moment I got it & always thought it was Windows (that's what they convinced me of)  until I figured out it was also the computer. Asus I found out is a terrible company (tech support, customer service, etc.), so even though it's not even 2 years old yet (almost), the warranty is gone & they won't fix it. I lost the money I spent on this junk.

Here are the stats - http://speccy.piriform.com/results/kiBM38pP0F2mrQj2XFWhF1K

For the last 1+ weeks things have gotten really bad. It's never been like this before.

When camming I can't even type on the computer. Everything lags (me seeing myself) including when I'm typing, but others can see me clearly.

At first I thought it was my ISP, but I know intuitively that it's not, although that's an issue too. I must be SERIOUSLY infected.

I've run ESET online cleaner several times & other then 1 or 2 finds, it finds nothing.

On my desktop I'm fine although I don't cam on there.

I have one of those cooler thingies coming from New Egg as the computer runs really hot & the fan just can't keep up, but I don't think that's the only issue since it's always done that.

Please help. I'm afraid she's going to crash at any time.

Thank you

Michelle

To do this:

  • Hit options.

  • Run the tool by double-clicking it. If you are using Windows Vista or Windows 7, right-click it and select Run as administrator.

Hi

Oh gawd, the computer is worse now. Every time I click on something it double clicks & opens up tons of windows I didn't click on. Or I have to click multiple times to get the mouse to work. It's driving me insane, I can't work. Please help.

Here's the last bit. It removed a webcam program's drivers, so I had to uninstall that program, but it shouldn't have been a problem.

And now my cam isn't working, the colors are fading in & out so it looks all distorted. This was after me running the last software. I had it happen last week too. :(
