I can't get either my LAN or my Wireless working.

I see from a program called Unknown Device Identifier 8.00 that I am missing two device drivers:

ven_8086&dev_095b&subsys_52108086&rev_59

ven_8086&DEV_15a2&subsys_222617aa&rev_03

I have had this hard drive /install running on a different laptop

Lenovo w550s

Intel 7265 AC/B/G/N Dual Band Wireless + Bluetooth Version 4.0

I have tried installing this driver from Lenovo but it doesn't show up in Device Manager or  Network Connections after the install.

Intel PRO1000 LAN Adapter Software Gigabit Ethernet Driver for Windows 8.1 64-bit, 7 32-bit, 64-bit - ThinkPadVer.12.12.80.1950 nz0rw01w_32

ven_8086&DEV_15a2&subsys_222617aa&rev_03   -  8086 is intel and 15a2 is supposed to be the I218LM chipset

Try the 32bit driver here.

For the other device I will need to search a little more. That DEV number does not appear anywhere.  There is a lenovo thread here that may help. It concerns the T450 but it has the same vendor and device ID you have.

I just was successful in getting both the Ethernet and the wireless installed.

I would like to see if I can make sure I have the latest drivers on this new Laptop Lenovo W550s

Do you know of a good program to run to update the drivers?

I also need to make sure I don't have any old drivers from the last machine installed.

I have looked in Device Manager, View hidden devices and I deleted all greyed out devices.

Thanks,

Docfxit

Glad you sorted it out.

I do not recommend any third party program other than intel's own update program. Could you please tell where you downloaded the drivers?  Were you able to get the drivers from Lenovo's website?  I believe I found your Intel Wireless driver here.

Edit: As long as the computer is running fine I would not worry about any old drivers left over. If you are concerned you can use AutoRuns . Look under the Drivers tab but be careful what you delete.
