I've been having some trouble with my lap top for awhile, at random times during my use of the computer as the title says it'll beep a couple times then shut down. I'm pretty sure this means that computer thinks that it is way too hot but I've been monitoring the temperatures and on average the system is never really higher than 50 (usually sitting closer to 40-45) unless I'm doing something a bit more intensive like playing a higher res game. I've checked my fans and they are not blocked. Until recently this would mostly happen while watching videos or streams. But today it has blue screened on me twice while playing a game and now the fans are stuck on what I assume is the highest setting as they are very audible and the airs coming out pretty heavily. And although the fans are spinning like the computer is on fire, HWMonitor tells me that everything is at around 30 C.

I've had this computer for about a year and a half now and up until this past December when the motherboard was replaced by the manufacturer for another issue this never happened.

Looks like it was an issue with my nvidia driver, updating seems to have solved the problem
