When choosing an inspiration to model your own physique on, surely there are better alternatives than the Incredible Hulk. If only Romario dos Santos Alves, 25, had someone to tell him that before he set out on his quest to mirror the body of the bright green digitally altered superhero.

I hope the guy gets some therapy. Muscle dysmorphia is a specific type of body dysmorphic disorder, which is actually related to obsessive–compulsive disorder. It's nearly impossible to deal with something like that without at least counselling and possibly medication.

Good Lord! Bulging biceps, trembling triceps, dilated deltoids and pulsating pectorals sure don't paint a pretty picture here!  How can he even move?
