Hi rp-57 :)

Under Windows 8, if you SFC couldn't fix some system files, you can usually replace them with a fresh copy from the store, using the Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth command (in an elevated command prompt, like the SFC scan). Once done, if you re-run SFC, it should comeback saying that no integrity violation was found.

Hi,

Ok that is what I figured.

and so after I do the restore health I will run sfc /scannow and see what happens then.

and if corrupt files is still here then I guess I will do a refresh hate to do that.

So what about the CBS log files were does that come into what is going on in windows resource.

Do I take and delete the old CBS log files what do I do.

with those files.

If you still have an error message saying that errors couldn't be fixed, upload C:\windows\CBS\CBS.log on either Dropbox or OneDrive, and post the share link here. I'll see if someone can check the log and help you with these errors.

Ok Thankyou

I have the CBS log files in a folder

I can paste that and send it if I can do that.

Don't know if that would do here or not on bleeping.

It's way too long to copy and paste here, hence why I'm asking you to upload it on Dropbox or OneDrive.
