Can't seem to copy a CD to WMP to eventually load on my MP3. I have done this on several occasions but not with 8.1

What software are using to rip the CD to your computer? Your post said "to WMP," did you mean "with WMP?"

Okay thanks. You might have heard a loud popping noise from SW mo. That's when I pulled my head out of my shoe and got it done. I was making more difficult than it is.
