My computer is a HP P6-2003a I had a bad virus and had to re-install windows to fix my computer.Since then whenever the computer goes to sleep or I click to restart or press the power button to startup it wont boot? I always have to press the power button for 5 seconds to turn it off and wait 10 seconds then press it again and it works. Ive done a sfc/scannow but it didnt make any difference. Is there anything else I can try to fix this?

How do you have your power options set?

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.

How do you have your power options set?

I have set power options on balanced. This must be intermittent because I just turned the computer on with the power button and it worked first time?
