dlink ethernet card

hi to all,

 

a friend of mine gave me an old dlink pci ethernet card based on the realtek rtl8139 chip and please i wish to know if it is better than my integrated network card of my asus p8h61-mle motherboard

 

i have an dsl 1000 line

 

in the case that i keep that network card my on board ethernet have to be disabled ?

 

what about the performance of that card

integrated = 10/100/1000

 

old dlink = 10/100

i have tried that old dlink network pci card and it is working properly eve if it is 10/100 as you have stated

 

you see my adsl line is the slowest (1000 kbits)
