Disclaimer: I only use utorrent for legal downloads and do not support piracy.

From the past week, every time I try downloading something using utorrent, I get a BSOD within 10-30 minutes. My computer works perfectly fine otherwise. The problem only occurs while utorrent is running.I have also tried the latest utorrent update.

Windows 7 ultimate service pack 1

AMD FX™- 4130 Quad core processor 3.80 GHz

64 bit OS   8GB RAM

model : M5A97 LER2.0

Help would be really appreciated.

here are my logs with blue screen view:

Hi. . .

Please follow these instructions & I'll be glad to take a look at the dumps and see if they yield clues -

http://www.sysnative.com/forums/bsod-crashes-kernel-debugging/68-blue-screen-of-death-bsod-posting-instructions-windows-10-8-1-8-7-vista.html

You may not be able to upload the resulting zip file here due to size, so please use OneDrive or Dropbox and post the link to whichever in your next post.  Thanks.

Regards. . .

Hi. . .

Thank you very much for the Sysnative files.

I did notice the updated Realtek driver in the dumps -

Rt64win7.sys Thu Jan 15 01:06:44 2015 (54B758F4)

It would have been my first thought as well considering all of the dumps name the Microsoft Networking related driver NETIO.sys as the probable cause.

http://sysnative.com/drivers/driver.php?id=NETIO.SYS

Unfortunately, nothing else in the dumps stands out.

If BSODs are software related, Driver Verifier should be able to help us here.  See if it flags any 3rd party drivers -

http://www.sysnative.com/forums/bsod-crashes-kernel-debugging/29-driver-verifier-bsod-related-windows-10-8-1-8-7-vista.html

Let it run for at least 24 hours (or until BSOD).  You can use the system while its running.  Just be sure to save your work often as Driver Verifier will force a BSOD immediately if it detects a violation.

Regards. . .

p.s.  You also may want to try removing uTorrent and see if BSODs persist.  Then reinstall.

I'm not familiar with uTorrent as I've never used it but I have seen it cause/be responsible for BSODs over the last 7+ years.

Thank you very much jcgriff2

Yesterday while I was waiting for your reply I read some more forums and disabled Teredo using the command:

netsh interface teredo set state disabled

After this the BSODs seem to have stopped.

All I wanted to know was if this is a long term solution and if disabling teredo has any downsides.

Once again thank you.

I hope I can get back to you if I encounter any other difficulties.

Hello punished snake,

I have the same proble as you with µtorrent.

Is your problem still solved after disabling Teredo?

Thanks.
