For awhile now, I've had problems with my disc drive. Currently, it won't read any discs.

It first started out as it wouldn't play a game on one log-in, but would play it on an administrator account. Then on another game it would give a weird message and the game couldn't play (turns out it wasn't the game because it worked fine on a different computer). Then before I knew it, it wouldn't play any discs.

The only thing I could remotely get to work is a burned disc with pictures on it, but it wouldn't show the content; all it could do is identify that it was a burned disc.

I tried Microsoft's Windows Powershell 1.0 but that did not help at all.

I was hoping if there's any way to fix this thing without having to buy a brand new disc drive or a brand new computer.
