Mod Edit:  Split from http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/516166/hp-machine-windows-7-wont-boot-and-cant-recover/ - Hamluis.

I can't use HP partition because it says that bootmgr is not working and I know that the recovery partition is there, How do I retore the partition without spending money since I don't have any?

Any help will be great.

Which HP system model do you have?

If the system won't boot...how do you know that the previously existing partitions are still there?  Please post the exact wording of any onscreen error messages received during your efforts.
