Due to illness I have not used my computer, camcorder, etc. for a number of years and have largely forgotten much of what I once knew. I am now trying to look  through my 'archive' of CDs/DVDs to see what I recorded years ago (and save much of it to the Cloud).. So far I have been unable to get what I believe to be VLC media files to play. Can someone advise me? Among the files I have identified from discs are mainly:

I have a recent version of VLC (and WMP) on my 8.1 Windows Tablet and a new external Samsung Drive capable of reading / writing most formats.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
