Running XP serv pk 3

dept of justice ransom page has popped up and taken over asking for $500

text on page says files have been encrypted, do not know for sure if that is the fact

Will not let me boot in safe mode.

tried booting from HitManPro kickstarter stick, but there software will not engage, goes thru there menu and all looks good, then boots up and the ransom page comes up, which they said it would, but then their software never engages and comes up over it

try to call up task manager and (ctrl-alt-del) it comes up split second before ransom shut it down

When trying to boot in safe mode it starts  out and then scrolls a list of tech lines (which the scrolling I believe is normal) and then goes right back to the select windows star mode menu

Have not tried a system restore, but the ransom certainly has a hold on the various windows start option otherwise.

Have to get around the boot issue and maybe run from stick initially to even begin to clean up.

Go I straight to a DOS command prompt mode to at least get to safe mode?

Any insight?

Do you have an XP installation CD so we can build a bootable CD using the Ultimate Boot CD for Windows (UBCD4WIN), and run a tool to hopefully fix some things, and get us into Windows?
