While I was playing a game and talking on skype my computer started freezing and unfreezing every 2-6 seconds. I restarted to try to fix the problem and it made strange clicking sounds and got stuck at the starting windows screen. Startup repair didn't work. I booted up into safe mode fine and malwarebytes didn't detect anything and I'm thinking it's something MalwareBytes can't detect. I am using windows 7.

Alright. I was away and when I came back and it was in sleep... it's just a black screen with a mouse now.
