The address block - where you can type an address on IE... just below the toolbar

For the life of me, I can't get this thing to display on the kid's computer. Tried the toolbar, etc., but to no avail. All I have is the homepage, but no "address" option...

How do you get this thing to appear?

Right click empty space on Toolbar.
Uncheck "Lock the toolbars".
Check "Address bar".
Left click & hold on Address bar & drag it where you want it.
Relock Toolbars.

Learn to use Google Search.  :busy:

Make full system images to restore to if your computer goes bonkers.

Thanks so much.
As always, I appreciate the help here much.
Son's computer is at school -- I just got home.
Have sent the instructions there via email, will let you know if we were successful.
All the best / jim
