Hi ,

I recently found your website and i've checked a few of the topics with my exact problem , but i didn't take any actions because i thought its gonna be better if i open a topic on my own.

So , for the past day i've been hearing some random , hidden advertisements , i didn't manage to find it in the task manager when it was playing because its really short and when i opened my Speakers to see where it is coming from , oddly it showed up that its coming from steam client webhelper , which i don't think its the main source.

So far i've ran spyhunter 4 and im running malwarebytes anti-malware right now , i've deleted some cookies and malwarebytes deleted some registery files i think , but i can still hear the adverts. Also i had a problem with a so called addon - SoAllePlus , a chrome addon which was always showing up (i've been deleting it , and when i start my pc the next day , its still there and i have to delete it again) , so i decided to run those programs and now i got rid of it but i can still hear adverts.

Edit : I'm running ESET Online scanner right now , malwarebytes didn't find any infected files. And to make it clear , the malwarebytes when i ran a scan only on my disk C:\ it found some other infected files affiliated with a so called comodo dragon program , i've heard of it before and i also had it downloaded cuz i didn't uncheck something in a installation wizard , but i got rid of it without having issues with those advertisements.

Update : ESET Online Scanner didn't find anything , same result with the MBAM. To be fair i didn't hear any adverts since i posted the topic , but its all random , since i closed - steam client webhelper i didn't get any commercials :D I was looking to open it and check it its from it , but i can't manage to see it in the steam folder.

Edit : Running Adwcleaner right now

Final post : I fixed it by running the MBAM once , it cleaned my infected cookies and the ADWcleaner cleaned my pc from the other stuff so now im free from any advertisements
