Background info
I am using Windows 7 Home Basic.

Downloaded a free extension or plug-in called History Calendar for Google Chrome users to look for older surfing history (3 months or more) and URLs easier.

Problem Number 1 Not solved

Uninstalled History Calendar extension for Google Chrome users.

SiteAdvisor and WOT not working or displaying in Google Chrome.

Search results from Google displayed in Internet Explorer and and Google Chrome are highlighted in blue or pastel green colour unless Siteadvisor is shut down.Once Siteadvisor is shut down, I am blind even though I have WOT.

In Windows Task Manager>Processes>csrss.exe,unsecapp.exe appeared from then on
I cannot end the processes.

HiJack This is missing from desktop.
MS Office 2010 corrupted and cannot be launched.

A smiley will appear at the bottom page of some of the websites that I visited.
___
- -  and this smiley :) will be upright.
 -

A partial problem that was solved
The smiley problem was solved by installing Avast Free Antivirus.

Problem Number 2 Not solved linked to above

MiniToolBox by Farbar and Objlist.exe (SecurityCheck) installed but not showing up nor any trace at all.
'The icons don't even showed up on my Desktop'. Totally missing.HDD faulty?

Present:Problem Number 3 probably linked to the two problems above

Slow opening of webpages or none at all but fast downloading in the rear background.

Everything is slow:accessing the Internet, opening files on the laptop and high RAM usage at 96 percentile.

Not Responding very common.

Maybe is Avast Free antivirus 2015 that I installed.Updates cannot be executed.

TDSSkiller.exe ran and reported all clear. No infections of ZeroAccess.

Should I run Farbar?

Thank you for your help.

  • Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
  • Once MBAM opens, when it says Your databases are out of date, click the Fix Now button.
  • Click the Settings tab at the top, and then in the left column, select Detections and Protections, and if not already checked place a checkmark in the selection box for Scan for rootkits.
  • Click the Scan tab at the top of the program window, select Threat Scan and click the Scan Now button.
  • If you receive a message that updates are available, click the Update Now button (the update will be downloaded, installed, and the scan will start).
  • The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
  • If potential threats are detected, ensure that Quarantine is selected as the Action for all the listed items, and click the Apply Actions button.
  • While still on the Scan tab, click the link for View detailed log, and in the window that opens click the Export button, select Text file (*.txt), and save the log to your Desktop.
  • The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can also be viewed by clicking the History tab and then selecting Application Logs.
POST THE LOG FOR MY REVIEW.

Note:
If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove, you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts.
Click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process.
If asked to restart the computer, please do so immediately.

===

Please download AdwCleaner by Xplode onto your Desktop.

  • Double click on AdwCleaner.exe to run the tool.
  • Click the Scan button and wait for the process to complete.
  • Check off the element(s) you wish to keep.
  • Click on the Clean button follow the prompts.
  • A log file will automatically open after the scan has finished.
  • Please post the content of that log file with your next answer.
  • You can find the log file at C:\AdwCleaner[Sn].txt (n is a number).
===

Download the version of this tool for your operating system.
Farbar Recovery Scan Tool (64 bit)
Farbar Recovery Scan Tool (32 bit)
and save it to a folder on your computer's Desktop.
Double-click to run it. When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.
Press Scan button.
It will make a log (FRST.txt) in the same directory the tool is run. Please copy and paste it to your reply.
The first time the tool is run, it makes also another log (Addition.txt). Please attach it to your reply.

Thank you for your help and reply nasdaq.
I performed an antvirus scan with Avast Free AV 2015 when the updates were allowed.
It reported a protected MBR folder cannot be scanned at all.

MBAM reported no malware but port scanning.

After the AdwCleaner cleaning, bootup becomes faster with no blank black screen appearing after logging on the UAC.

However, Not Responding is still there but faster than before Adwcleaner  cleaned up.

Physical memory in Windows Task Manager used more memory than the past at 98 percentile some time before falling to 58 percentile during non-surfing duration when online.

The system freezed totally when RAM usage is at 98 percentile.

Hi nasdaq. I apologised for  my late reply as I had problem downloading FARBAR 64. Every time I tried downloading it, I get cut off from my Internet connection. Odd indeed!.

Luckily, I managed to download it after a few attempts.

I will post it as soon as I run it.

Hi nasdaq,

My laptop function a little faster after the fixlist was run.Not Responding was there but no longer that slow.Time lapse is more or longer between the UAC logon and the Windows  Explorer page. What I am seeing is just a black screen and the circle turning for a minute or  two before Windows Explorer showing up.

As the spooler got deleted my printer cannot be used.

Fix result of Farbar Recovery Tool (FRST written by Farbar) (x64) Version: 22-04-2015 01
Ran by CCC at 2015-05-01 22:53:51 Run:1

Hi there!Thank you for the reply and advice.

I just did reinstall as we were not going anywhere. It seemed that the reinstall did not work as the BackDoor trojan infected my default factory reset partition.

Windows did not even asked me for the Product Key and everything remain the same even after reinstall.

Now I have to delete all the partitions inclu.system partition.Thanks.
