I'm Dave McKeen. I'm a retired telecom engineer who now is a semi-pro photographer photographing "starving artist" and "new face" girls and young women talent in the Dallas - Ft. Worth area. See my Web site.

I bought my first IBM PC compatible clone in 1986 after going nowhere with an original Commodore PET I bought in '80. After taking delivery of my third clone and having to fix assembly mistakes I decided to bolt my own together. That worked fine as long as I did my research. But I slapped together the PC prior to the one I have now and it was always unstable. Would not pass any memory tests. Kind of a long drawn out nightmare. So I did a lot of prep on my latest creation and am happy with it. Well, it could be faster, but then I could have thrown more money at it too!

Here's what I wound up with. BTW, the monitor is a honey. Best equipment purchase of any kind I ever made!
