If anyone's thinking of downloading, installing, using PC Tools Threatfire, I recommend configuring it as an on-demand tool.  Default Actions --> first 2 = Prompt Me, 3rd = Quarantine and Alert.  I don't recommend the first two actions set as allow or quarantine.  Threatfire Protection = Off.  I think the community reports may be useful, kinda sorta like Fox & CNN Kwik-News.

ThreatFire was discontinued by PC Tools a few years ago...The end of ThreatFire

I liked the program years ago when I first used it but moved on when I heard support would be ending.
