Lagging Programs.

Hi guys, when i mutli task IE USe windowns MSn, surf the net, and use microsoft word, the computer seems to lag, and forcese me to "End task" so that everything is normal again. I believe i have downloaded syware or malware making my computer uber slow. please quicjly run through my log and help.

Hello noelckc and welcome to the BC HijackThis forum. I do not see any signs of viruses or malware in this log. It is clean.

There is 1 item that has no file listed so that can be removed. Start HijackThis and click the Scan button to perform a scan. Look for the following items and click in the checkbox in front of each item to select it:O9 - Extra button: (no name) - {FB5F1910-F110-11d2-BB9E-00C04F795683} - (no file)
Now close ALL open windows except HijackThis and click the Fix Checked button to finish the repair.

Other than that as far as malware goes you are good to go. For performance issues you might want to make a post in the XP forum and let them analyze the machine a little deeper. Let them know that you have been to this forum and no malware was found.
