Hi just wondering if i have a physical 500gb hardrive then does that mean that if i create a virtual hardrive it can only be 500gb or how do i know what size it can be

I think of a virtual harddrive as simply cloud storage. Instead of storing data on your computer's hdd it is sent to an online server. The size of 

the hdd installed in your computer has nothing to do with it. You would pay a fee for using the cloud servers based on the amount of storage you

rent. Dropbox, Google, Amazon and Microsoft are some of the businesses offering cloud storage.
