Thank you very much for the reply Nasdaq. I am away from the computer for 24 hours but will certainly try what you have set out as soon as possible and get back to you.

Sincere regards.

Hi Nasdaq

Sorry I haven't got back to you, I have been having all sorts of problems with this computer - it really seems to have a mind of its own.

I followed your instructions, and immediately the notebook restarted but would not load the OS. I got a blue screen with the unhappy face. After mucking around for hours I reloaded a new OS off a Windows Image that I downloaded off Microsoft website.

Long story short. the notebook is buggered!! Everything I download off the internet gets altered it seems. Program files contain weird files which seem to be instructions for the program not to work properly. I constantly intercept a huge amount of files from Google, imrworld, Akamai, etc. All of my web traffic is redirected.

Attached is a couple of Kaspersky Get System Info files that I would really appreciate you having a look at. I think they show some pretty strange stuff going on with this notebook. Bare in mind though I am no expert like you, so I might just be imagining that my IT is majorly being messed around with.

In reviewing these files can you please keep in mind that the ssd was formatted with a new image installed only four hours prior to the scans (approx.).

I am really desperate to get a properly functioning computer again. If this is something that you can solve for me I will gladly compensate you the value of a new notebook, or make a commensurate donation to a charity of your choice.

Thanks Ant

Run the Farbar tool and post a fresh FRST log for my review.
