I can't do this without running ESET again. Do you want me to do that?

Yes. Try again or Emsisoft Emergency Kit Scan

Emsisoft Emergency Kit Scan

--------------------

  • Download Emsisoft Emergency Kit and save it to your desktop.
  • Double click on the EmsisoftEmergencyKit.exe icon, click Run then Extract
  • Double click the Start Emsisoft Emergency Kit icon that will appear after extraction
  • Click Yes to update the program
  • Once the update is completed click the Back button
  • Click on 2. Scan (not Quick Scan or Smart Scan)
  • Click Yes to detect Potentially Unwanted Programs (PUPs)
  • Patiently wait for the thorough scan to complete, this can be a lengthy process
  • Once completed click Quarantine selected objects (if computer is clean you will not have this option) then click OK
  • Click View Report
  • Attach the report to your reply
  • Close the program then click Close

This is the fourth time that I have run ESET. There is no list of found threats only quarantined files and there is no way to print them. What do you want me to do now? I can send you a screenshot of the quarantined files if you want. I have been trying to hold off but eventually my pc is going to restart itself for Windows updates.

I have also downloaded Start Emergency Kit Scanner but if you want me to run it I need instructions.

Please try run Emergency Kit Scanner.

Please tell me what to do with the quarantined items from ESET first. Am I supposed to leave them alone or delete them? Also send instructions for Emergency Kit Scanner.

Are youku downloader still present on the system?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here is a screenshot of the threat. Should I delete it?

No,no. Do not delete it key with Emsisoft.

New problem since the last scan (emisoft), now my Chrome won't open unless I open as administrator.

Have you tried these options ?

Have you set the UAC Settings to default..? if not, or not sure... just open run then type msconfig then, in tools launch UAC Settings & set them to default.

Also do try include

Open chrome > Settings > Show advanced settings...

Privacy > Automatically send usage statistics and crash reports to Google ''klick''

What settings are in the shortcut Properties ?

Right click on the Chrome icon your desktop.

Properties > shortcut >advanced > If select Run as Administrator --> unselect

Maybe you need to get a new version:

I don't see any evidence of Youku now and I got Chrome working again. Is there anything else you want me to do?
