My keyboard (on my computer at home) is typing double strokes. This happened AFTER my mom was having a problem with her keyboard and she borrowed mine to see if it would work. I got the keyboard back and it didn't work at all. So I got a loaner from work and it's typing double strokes (like my mom said hers was).

Is this a virus or just a hardware problem? I'm afraid to plug in another keyboard.

I have an older Sony Vaio desktop running Windows 98. I just use the computer for internet and email. I'm hoping someone can help me?
