failed download since the connection reset by server

  We have a SAP application from which when downloading is interrupted in the middle in the client machine in the internet explorer browser.Problem occurs only for jpg files and the files having large size.

The error message showing is failed to download file connection was reset by server.
We checked downloading these files from other applications and ftp servers with out any issue.

Is this have any relation with browser settings or windows firewall or client antivirus?

The error message means the download took too long to complete and so the server sending the download reset the connection. The most likely culprits are the firewall settings or you antivirus, although IE is notorious for this too. Will the SAP application work in another browser? You can try that.
