My son wrote a small freeware program that runs SFC (system file check) in a GUI / viewer.

Wondering where i can post it for people to try.

I have sent a message to the people whom would normally deal with such a request.

I designed the program and my son wrote the code, He's 16 year's old and been doing programming since he was 12 so he's pretty smart. I searched on the web for exactly SFC and troubleshooting errors, and fixes. Al lot of machines that error-ed out, SFC (system file check) didn't always work and had to do common fixes, i.e. Pending reboot, or trusted installer wasn't working. So I wanted a tool that could use SFC /scannow and if there was errors I could fix the common ones with just a push of a button, and didn't have to look up how to fix all the time. So this is a beta version, like a week old.

Kind-a asking if anything needs to be change or added. My son's name is Mikey.

I played around with it and its a front-end of SFC. Some formatting issues on the output:

sfc-gui.jpg

Overall there is not much to it. It runs the sfc /scannow command displays the output.

Can you give me more information as to exactly what the 3 buttons at the bottom do? Also I suggest he add checkboxes for the other arguments to sfc so that people can choose how they run it.

If you want, your son can post a link to his program in this topic so others can take a look at it.
