Hello, I have a new Asus VX248H Monitor and I've noticed that after shutting down the computer the screen goes white. The power button on the monitor then becomes unresponsive and the only way for me to get the white screen to go away is to unplug and replug in the power cable. Any ideas what would cause this and any solutions as to how to fix it?

I'd suspect a faulty monitor. If it's still under warranty, I'd be trying to get it replaced.

Yes i agree with paraclete,

Try to connect any other external monitor to view the result whether it is problem with graphic card or monitor itself....

All the best
