For the last 3 weeks, i have been getting a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) about once a day on my Compaq presario.. Windows 7 Home Premium Edition
PC has a 500GB HD, 6GB of Ram with an AMD E-350 Processor 1.64ghz.. it was right around this time i did a number of windows updates.. which i think is to blame for all this.. but i am sure everyone hear might have a better idea or have seen this issue before
It says STOP... 0x00000124
right around this time or just a few days before. I noticed my DVD/CD rom drive would not open, yet device manager shows it as installed properly.. tried reloading the drivers for it but still no luck with that..Could be related to BSOD issue maybe??? but no commands in CMD will open this drive and it is hooked up correctly inside.. I took cover off yesterday and actually unplugged the drive to see if it would have any effect on it.. 2hrs later got the BSOD again
I did a Scan Disk of HD.. Here is my log file below.. I also did a microsoft Memory/ram test.. that came back ok

Also, in Event Viewer > System.. right before my last BSOD crash.. i see this Error entry..
\SystemRoot\SysWow64\Drivers\cdrbsdrv.SYS has been blocked from loading due to incompatibility with this system. Please contact your software vendor for a compatible version of the driver.
Any ideas or suggestions on resolving this issue??? After it crashes with BSOD.. PC loads up and works just fine..A virus scan did not show any viruses at all..
Thanks in advance!
