Hello.

I am having a lot of problems that are potentially linked together on my computer.  Skype will load and I can log on, but I will not be connected to skype, none of my friends will see me on and I can't connect to their calls but I can see them calling me and everything they message me (my messages won't be sent to them).  A similar thing happens to battle net games (wow, hearthstone) except games like hearthstone won't even load, I can still see my friends online but none of the news information on the screen will load, none of the games will load and none of my messages will get through to them.  On youtube and other video sites (and flash games) will look like they are loading but nothing will play or they will be stuck on the first frame (I can even click further into the video and it loads the frame I click on).

I have tried everything I can think of bar restarting to a previous state, I have updated every windows update available, flash player update, video driver, headphone driver, and ran the full antivirus scan, disable and enabled different plug-ins in chrome and probably more.

To give some more information, cn you please post a Speccy report, a free download from BC which you can get here -

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/speccy/

And these two images will show you how to get the URL which is all you post if you have never done it before -

And please post a Mini Toolbox report, another free download from BC -

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/minitoolbox/

Download it and run it. When it starts you get a box like that in this image -

Select at least the headings selected in the picture then click 'Go'. When it has finished it produces a report in .TXT file format. Open the file and copy / paste all the text into your next post. Just one note, I don't know for certain that Mini Toolbox works on Win 8 / 8.1 . If it doesn't run just post the Speccy URL

Firstly disable all unwanted plug-ins from your chrome. Remove all temp files, unnecessary programs from your system and perform a full PC scan with any cloud based antivirus software like Immunet and Avira. Cloud-based antivirus always have updated database and can be very useful for quickly scanning a PC for malware.
