Windows 7 x86

Swedish OS (so error messages are a bit difficult to translate)

Steps taken:

Scanned with malwarebytes, hundreds of items in quarantine. Errors are still there

scanned with sfc /scannow - no errors found

IE crashes at startup "this program has stopped working"

Tried to remove IE from windows features, restart, then reinstall IE. No help.

Get hundreds of errors for mainly 3 .dll  files when booting the computer and/or launching programs. The ruff translation of the error message: "incorrect memory usage" (Felaktig Minnesanvänding in Swedish)

These errors are coming up over and over again when launching applications or settings.

Sorry for the dumb title.

  1. Download Autoruns
  2. Extract the autoruns.exe from the archive.
  3. Run autoruns.exe
  4. The tool will start to run, give it a few seconds to populate the startups.
  5. When the tool says "Ready." in the bottom left corner, go to File -> Save... ->  Save as Type: Text (*.txt) -> Save it to the desktop or some place you can find later on.
  6. Open the text file you just saved, copy everything inside of it (Ctrl+A -> Ctrl+C) and paste it in your next reply (Ctrl+V)
