Lately, maybe in the last 5 days, I've been experiencing some very slow internet. I've checked it out, in possibly 1 day, I've sent perhaps 100 million bytes of data and maybe only recieved about 20 million. I haven't been uploading anything, but when I download things, like say HijackThis, It goes at full speed. I've done a full Spyware, adware, malware etc. checks and I've only been able to find 3 tracking cookies (in Ad-Aware SE). I then took a log of HijackThis and it came up with this. Help is needed!!!

Logfile of HijackThis v1.99.1

Oh, and I forgot to mention, I have been encountering a little window that pops up every so often, but it doesn't have name nor a logo, making me think that's the culprit. But I can't catch it fast enough before it disappears.

Currently, I've got GMER to work, however, I've been having trouble getting F-Secure Online Scanner to work. I'm using IE7 Beta, and I'm having trouble downloading IE6 to see if there is any difference. For now, I have the GMER log for you.

Lets do this,Let me see a HijackThis Start Up log.

Open HijackThis and Click the "Open Misc Tools Section" tab.

Select Generate StartUpList log and make sure that both Boxes beside it are checked:

Put a check by:
List all minor sections(Full)
and
List Empty Sections(Complete)

It will produce a NotePad Page,I need you to copy the entire contents of that page to the next reply.

Go to Safe Mode and Click Start-> Run-> Copy&Paste the bold text below into the Open Box and Click OK

sc delete ws2ifsl

Restart the PC back in Normal Mode and see if the internet doesnt stabilize some.

Do me a favor and locate this file--> C:\WINDOWS\system32\SVKP.sys

Right Click and Select Properties, see if you can associate this with any software or games you have on the PC.

Compare the date created to any games or apps you have downloaded and installed?

I think its a device for Copyright Protection but Symantec says its a worm of sorts.

You can also scan the file at either of the 2 locations below

Virus Total

Jottis Malware Scan

Post back and let me know what ya find out??

Having any luck with F-Secure?

How is the Internet acting now??

If F-Secure is giving you that much trouble, dont worry about that Online Scan.

Try running this one
