my computer hasnt booted properly since yesterday, it keeps making me choose between "launch startup repair" and "start windows normally"

when i choose start up repair, it cancels it saying " Startup repair has not finished repairing your computer. Are you sure you want to stop repair?"

when i choose no, nothing happens,

when i choose yes, it restarts and im back to choosing between launching startup repair or start windows normally

on the other hand, if i choose " start windows normally" it launches startup repair instead and the cycle begins again

what do i do?

The instructions at the website Louis provided the link to explains how to boot into the Advanced Boot Options.  If you can boot into the Advanced Boot Options use the up or down key to navigate to Safe Mode, when the pointer is over it press Enter.

Once you are have boot into Safe Mode try doing a System Restore.

Click on the Start orb startorb_zpsvudtmgfg.png .

In the Search programs and files box type System Restore.

Under Programs right click on System Restore, then click on Run as administrator

When System Restore opens click on Next

You should now see your restore points listed by time and date, click on a restore point prior to the time your problem started, then click on Next.

Click on Finish to initiate the restore.

If you can not do a System Restore reopen the Advanced Boot Options and choose Repair your computer.
