Since this topic first opened I have read a ton of articles, I think many are taking the Lemmings approach.  Anyone considering the change/upgrade should do some reading, I think many will stay with what they have.

 

Remember what your elders told you!  Nothing is truly FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Indeed, it would only be truly free if a Microsoft representative came to your house with a disc in hand and installed it onto your computer for you.

 

Just like the supposedly free Linux, you will have the cost of downloading it and the time taken to install it.
