1. Asus M2NPV-MX motherboard

2. AMD Athlon 6000+ x2

3. Hynix 2GB PC2-5300P-555-12-L0 (4pcs)


My current set is running fine,but a bit slow


1 same MB

2 same CPU

3 A-Data 512Mbx8 667mhz ddr2 -on b1 and b2

4 Hynix 512mbx8 4200U (533mhz) - on a1 and a2


under bios it shows, that installed memory is 2 Gb, useable is 1,7 Gb

 I´d like to boost it, so i got those Hynix memoryes, but when i installed them in, pc powers up, but screen stays blank- i will not acsess even BIOS! Any help is welcome !

It looks like it should work according to the documentation.  Maybe try leaving in the old memory that you KNOW works and try each one of the other NEW memory one at a time.  Maybe you have a bad stick of ram.
