Why is file database on a tab and also below? Startup list confusing with startup programs?
At least right now, the rightmost tab seems to overhang the page.
I do like the look of the tabs, though.

Cheers,
John

The guy holding the....... box/monitor is a little boring. It's not that colorful. I know "complex" isn't the best thing, but maybe a little more would be better.

Removed the duplicate links. What do you mean it hangs over the page?

The guy holding the....... box/monitor is a little boring.

Agreed...its just something I threw up there as filler. Hope to get it nicer down the road.

Oh thank god, ive not gone crazy, you HAVE changed the navigation bar!

I think it looks ok, i agree about the little man, especially the box, maybe he should be sat typing or somthing!
Maybe a little more colour would work,i like simple, theres somthing missing, but cant quite put my finger on it.

Maybe a shop tab with bc products, t-shirts,mugs caps.........Ok maybe forget the shop, although id buy a t-shirt,could have our names on the back, cool!

I think theres just too much 'white' up there on its own. How about blue at the very top fading out as it gets to the Nav bar?

If someone can create a gradient blue that matches I would be more than happy to try it..unfortunately my graphic skills suck.

It looks more compact, which I like.
The tabs look to be off center.
It looks like that row should shift to the left about 1/2 a "tab width".

I sort of agree with jgweed that the right hand icons are over hanging slightly, due to the increased word lengths on the right. I think you might be able to fix that though - what about switching some of the buttons around so the word lengths are more spread out? Ie, why not switch around the small word of "glossary" in the middle, with the largest word of "Uninstall List" or the right? That will add separation between the "Startup List" and the "File Database".

In regards to the icon I much prefer it to be simple - if you read the site name and look at the icon there's no way you are going to think it's a box, unless you don't know what a computer is (which is unlikely)!! The colour scheme works also. Oh another thing - I preferred the BC words when they weren't bold - looked more like rustic typed out text, which I think looked better.

I think because of the size of the logo on the left, the tab bars are pushed to the right so that the rightmost tab extends beyond the rest of the framework.

Just underneath the new tabs are boldfaced:
MY BLOG
MY TOPICS
MY CONTROLS

but My Assistant isn't boldfaced

Maybe these could be arranged so all the MY thingies could be together and fonted the same.

Why is that guy holding a TV over his head, won't he get tired and drop it?

Cheers to all,
John

Ok I see what you mean by the overhang now. I originally thought you meant they were going off the page.... I will see what I can do.

what about switching some of the buttons around so the word lengths are more spread out? Ie, why not switch around the small word of "glossary" in the middle, with the largest word of "Uninstall List" or the right? That will add separation between the "Startup List" and the "File Database".

I dont think this will do anything. All the buttons are now the same size regardless of the text within and we will still have the overhang. Maybe centered is not the way to go? I will play around and see.

As for the bold bleepingcomputer.com ... i think I like it. Maybe a better font though..will play around with that too..

I will address the font as well, but that has always been like that. It is not a new thing.

as for the background if someone kind design an gradiant image to use in the background that complements the existing color scheme I would be happy to try it. My skills in that area are lacking though.
