On Saturday I downloaded a program update to a program calle atubecatcher. I selected cancel install after realizing it was going to change my search engine.

Later I was using Windows Movie Maker and everytime I would choose to finalize by rendering the video Movie Maker would go into not responding mode.

I used another program and created the video without problem. After that I shut down the computer and at next restart all programs said not responding. I couldn't open network connections nor would system restore start.

I looked at the event log and will post here everything from March 1st until the last entry which was Sunday March 15th.

The top of the list is starts with March 15th and going down the list will take you back to March 1st.

I tried not to list the same events twice but may have once or twice.

Time Provider NtpClient: No valid response has been received from manually configured peer time.windows.com,0x1 after 8 attempts to contact it. This peer will be discarded as a time source and NtpClient will attempt to discover a new peer with this DNS name. The error was: The peer is unreachable.

The time service has not synchronized the system time for 86400 seconds because none of the time service providers provided a usable time stamp. The time service will continue to retry and sync time with its time sources. Check system event log for other W32time events for more details.
