What problems are you having when you try to download?
Any error messages? If so, post the entire error.
Whatever details you can give will help us help you.

Make sure you run that one with Administrator rights , right click run as admin.  At least thats what i was told and it works, i'm no expert though , not even close actually.

I didn't think of the Administrator aspect. That might work.

Try it and report back with the results. If it does not work, please do as I requested and post details of your problems.

You can start AdwCleaner without Administrator rights but it should be run As Administrator.

Since the issue appears to be related to a downloading problem we will have to wait for more info from the OP.

You were correct in the above statement. I was merely pointing out it could be launched without Admin rights.

The OP says in the title that AdwCleaner can't be downloaded is the problem. The OP then quoted a URL with a subtle, but critical, typo.

@lynnpuppies please try left-clicking the following: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/adwcleaner/dl/125/.

At the moment of this posting, v4.112 is the current version. Please let us know if Bleeping Computer can help you further.

Best wishes. :)

All viruses are malware but not all malware are viruses and if the malware doesn't self replicate it just isn't a virus.

Thanks quietman7,    not sure how to do that unless you mean if your in the user account just right click and hit run as admin and entering your password instead of going directly to the admin acct.

lynnpuppies was still online while several replies were made but did not come back to comment.

You can just double-click on the .exe to launch.
