Windows 8.1 does not make it easy to add default actions for plug and play devices.  I am reluctant to tinker with the registry to make my iphone launch the right program (not iTunes) when it gets plugged in. I tried Default Programs Editor, but it does not work with hardware handlers.  Any suggestions?
