Hi,

i have been infected by Operation Global III ransomware. I have been trying to decrypt the files using Operation Global III Ransomware Patcher. I have followed all the steps shown in http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/559220/operation-global-iii-ransomware-not-only-encrypts-but-infects-your-data-as-well/ but I keep getting the message "the infection exe could not be found. The infection is needed on the machine to patch the decryption process." Although the infection is running  in the background. I have got the screenshot of what it says (but don't know how to upload it here) and also some encrypted files along with their pre-encrypted counterparts. Please advise.

Upload your screenshot to a photo hosting site such as http://imgur.com/

After it uploads, on the right side of this page look for links.

Copy the link for BBCode (message boards & forums)

It will look like this

Paste the link in a reply.

Please repost that information in the Operation Global III ransomware... topic

Rather than have everyone start individual topics, it would be best (and more manageable for staff) if you posted any questions, comments or requests for assistance in that topic discussion. Our crypto malware experts who provide assistance for this type of infection are subscribed to that topic.

Thanks
