I have done a clean install of W8/W8.1 onto a Samsung EVO 250GB SSD with a WD Black 3TB storage drive. I want to make sure I do not fill the SSD with "stuff". I am sure I need to redirect Google and IE to the HHD. How do I redirect to new folders, like Music, Videos, etc. Also what do I do with my sons on line video gaming while trying to maximize performance? What do I put on the SSD and what on the HHD? What do you mean? Are you saying you want all the files to be stored on the HHD while keeping the SSD just Windows? If you want to save all your files to the HHD you can go to "Libraries", Choose for example the "Documents" Library, "Library Tools", "Manage Libraries", and delete the "Documents" Library Location on the SSD and Add a new library location on the HHD which is also named Documents. You would need to do that for all the libraries: Music, Pictures, Videos, etc. That should make the primary save location to the HHD instead of the SSD. I am not sure what you mean regarding Google and IE and Online Video Gaming, could you clarify that?

Hi chevelle :)

I recently helped another member with the same questions to organize his SSD and his HDD. You can follow the instructions starting at this post:

If you have any questions, let me know. Benjamin, this will only affect the libraries, it won't move any folders at all. A "Library" itself isn't a folder, it's a search results consisting on the folders you added to it, simple as that.
