Hi tom17, welcome to BC.
Put the DVD in the drive and close any players.
Double click My Computer then double click the dvd drive.
Just copy and paste the file\files into a folder.
How you launch it will depend on the file structure.
What did you use to create this dvd?

If you put the video on a DVD, isn't the video already on the computer?
If it is already on the computer,it seems there is no need to save it to the computer.
If I am missing something here, please enlighten me.
Is it possible to transfer video directly from a camera to a DVD without a computer in the middle of the process?

Learn to use Google Search.  :busy:

Make full system images to restore to if your computer goes bonkers.
