Hi,

The forums are really busy, that explains why logs get behind. If you still need some help, please start with posting a new hijackthislog in this thread. Don't start with a new thread.
Then I'll take a look.

Hello,

The windows defender every time i run it says "C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts"....When i sart the computer in safe mode the "hosts" it is not there could you help me.

I actually don't really understand here what you are trying to say. I see Windows Defender and Spysweeper running in the background. Both are watching the hostsfile. So it could be possible that they are interfering with eachother.

Perform next:

* Download: Hoster
Unzip hoster to an own folder, eg C:\Hoster
Start Hoster.exe, click 'Restore Original Hosts' and click OK.
If it says, a hostsfile was not found, would you like to create one, click yes.

In case it gives an error, use the hoster in safe mode instead.

Let me know if that solved your problem, because it's still not cearly here what exactly your problem is.

Your hijackthislog looks clean.

Good to hear everything is fine again.
You weren't dealing with a hosts hijack. Windows Defender is giving that alert, because Spysweeper modifies the hostsfile and adds extra entries in it to block certain sites. And Windows Defender sees this as a hosts file hijack attempt.

To keep this clean in the future, I would suggest the following things:

Install Spywareblaster
SpywareBlaster doesn`t scan and clean for so-called spyware, but prevents it from being installed in the first place. It blocks the popular spyware ActiveX controls, and also prevents the installation of any of them via a webpage.

* Avoid illegal sites, because that's where most malware is present.
* Don't click on links inside popups.
* Don't click on links in spam messages claiming to offer anti-spyware software; because most of these so called removers ARE spyware.
* Download free software only from sites you know and trust. Because a lot of free software can bundle other software, including spyware.

Let your antispywarescanner(s) scan frequently and don't forget to update before.

And I do suggest you perform an online virusscan once in a while. (Housecall and/or Bitdefender). Because what one virusscanner can't find another one maybe can.
Also make sure that your virusscanner, the one that is installed on your system is always up to date!

Make sure your windows has the latest updates: http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/
